To Any Possible New Candidates,

I am writing this testimonial to let everyone know that you can’t go wrong with Korvia Consulting! To be honest the main reason I say so, is because of my recruiter, Serena Choi. I had only heard great things about Korvia Consulting, but Serena made everything more than I had ever expected.

Where do I even start? Serena contacted me within two days after I had filled out Korvia Consulting’s online application for an interview, before I knew it I was in the process for teaching in Korea. The whole process was way more than I thought it could ever be, I can only say I was able to get through it all with all the help and advice I had received from Serena. I don’t mean to scare anyone about the application process, but it is a lot of paperwork, however it was all a breeze with the help of Serena.

Serena always answered my emails very quickly and answered all my questions. She was very informative and knowledgeable about every step I had to go through. At times I would do my own research on how to go about certain steps, but Serena always had the best method. I really relied on her a lot, but she was more than willing to help.

I was applying for the GEPIK program at the time for October, but there was a problem with the GEPIK budget. I was then pushed back for the EPIK program that would start in March. I was really eager to begin work in Korea, so going from October 2011 to March 2012 as a possible contract date was disappointing. Serena had told me that she will keep me updated with the EPIK program once they receive the applications. Serena made sure I had everything ready to go before the EPIK applications were even received by Korvia Consulting. So I had in mind that things would go well and I had hoped to teach in Korea by March.

Serena did not let me down though. Through Serena’s hard work she had found me the perfect school, which was close to my ideal location as well! And the starting date was for October 2011! I was elated with the news and we began the competitive process for the school. Before I knew it, I was on a plane to Korea.

To this day, Serena continues to give me advice and helps me with any questions and problems I may have. The important thing about Korvia Consulting and my recruiter, is they are very professional and hard working. Serena not only made the whole process easier, but also made it comfortable. She really did care and made an effort to get to know her candidates. I can easily say coming into Korea, Serena wasn’t just my recruiter, but also my friend.
